About

  • This journal was created to showcase the undergraduate and graduate work of the students at James Madison University. As such, the process for the selection of submissions is rigorous and is the duty of the editor. 
  • Two issues are published every year: Fall and Spring editions 
  • This journal is run by the students of Sigma Tau Delta Psi Sigma chapter.
  • Currently, photos on the site come from free access sites, typically Unsplash. 
  • The logo for this site was created by Kaitlyn McNutt, a JMU student, who can be reached at mcnuttkait@gmail.com

Submission Guidelines

  • MLA format
  • Page numbers must be included
  • Allowed to submit up to five pieces per issue
  • Only currently enrolled JMU students may submit (graduating students who may no longer be enrolled by the time of publication are allowed)
  • Students may submit academic work from classes, or other disciplines, or creative works such as prose, short stories or poetry
  • We do not currently accept artistic submissions such as paintings, photographs or other forms of artwork

Selection

  • Following the selection of work, the editor will email those who submitted if they have been accepted
  • We reserve the right to make editorial changes for grammar and/or clarity
